Hong Kong, April 2025 – Institut Disciples Escoffier (IDE) proudly hosted a series of exclusive culinary events in early April 2025, featuring acclaimed French chef Benoit Witz, recipient of the prestigious Michelin Green Star and head chef of Jardin Secret Restaurant in France.
Renowned for his commitment to sustainable gastronomy, Chef Witz led a curated culinary program in Manila and Hong Kong, where he shared his expertise through interactive masterclasses, farm-to-table experiences, and exclusive 4-hand dinners.
In Manila, the event took place on Thursday, 3 April 2025, beginning with a masterclass at The Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts (TEACA) – Institut Disciples Escoffier Manila, followed by a 4-hand dinner at The Continental Restaurant, The Palms Country Club.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, 5 April 2025, the Hong Kong event included a full-day Culinary Sustainability Experience with a farm visit, live cooking demo, and a sustainable lunch. The day ended with a special 4-hand dinner at CulinArt 1862 Restaurant.
Each event spotlighted Chef Witz’s refined approach to environmentally conscious cuisine, incorporating locally sourced organic ingredients, Provençal herbs, and zero-waste techniques. Guests were treated to a unique blend of French culinary tradition and modern sustainable innovation.
